BotFactory has a long, non-linear history. Every forum member has their own point of view and their own path to BotFactory.
For me, it started with 2 small programming forums, back in 2008. One of them was called "Master Jake Online"(MJO) and was administrated by MasterJake, Later moderated by Me, Joey and Kris. The other one was called "ETSSoft" and was administrated by Codiah/IconCodiah where I was also a moderator in the end. ETSSoft was the first to die, but MJO stayed alive for quite a long time, until one day, for no apparent reason, MasterJake closed his forum.

Luckily some of the people still had each other's contacts.
Me, Kris and Joey started a new forum, it was called "Lingubender".
(Correct me if I'm wrong) Lingubender was up and running for 1-1.5 years before its database got corrupted. The backups which Kris had made, were also corrupt. At the end of the Lingubender era, Jakash3 had become a moderator.

So, we were back to zero.
Kris did not see a point in starting all over again, so I rented a server and bought a new domain name, Botfactory.org, and here we are. The forum is ruled by Me, Joey and Jakash3.

We will attempt to avoid past mistakes.
